Last December was a very busy month in our
school! Many activities were launched.

pasado diciembre fue un mes muy intenso en nuestro centro! Lanzamos muchas actividades.
1. Reading
Buddies
The first Reading Buddies
meetings took place, among students from different levels (from
3-year-olds to 2º grade of Secondary Education). The partners will
meet every term to share a lovely time surrounded by stories and
books.
Se
celebró la primera reunión entre Compañeros de lectura,
comprendiendo alumnos de diferentes niveles (desde 1º de Ed.
Infantil hasta 2º de ESO). Las parejas se reunirán cada trimestre,
compartiendo ratos agradables entre cuentos y libros.
2. eTwinning
projects:
On the other hand, several
levels carried out our first eTwinning projects with schools from all
around Europe. ETwinning action is an initiative of the European
Commision that aims to encourage European schools to collaborate
using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by providing
the necessary infrastructure (online tools, services, support). You

Por
otro lado, varios niveles desarrollaron sus primeros proyectos
eTwinning con colegios de toda Europa. La acción eTwinning es una
iniciativa de la Comisión Europea destinada a fomentar la
colaboración entre centros europeos a través del uso de las
Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC),
proporcionando las infraestructuras necesarias (herramientas online,

Primaria
We took part in the
international project "Let's sing Christmas" with school
from France, Italy, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, Greece and Poland.
First, we exchanged stars wishing a merry Christmas to our
partners around Europe and then our pupils colaborated in the
creation of a Christmas carol video. Find the link here.
Los
alumnos participaron en el proyecto internacional "Cantemos la
Navidad" con colegios de Francia, Italia, Croacia, Rumanía, Turquía, Grecia y Polonia. Primero intercambiamos estrellas
deseando una feliz navidad a nuestros compañeros de toda Europa y
después participamos en la creación de un video cantando un

2 of Primary Education/ 2º de Educación
Primaria
We exchanged some Christmas
ornaments with a school from Kifissia, Athens (Greece) and hold
an online meeting where the children sang Christmas carols in
English, Spanish and Greek.
Intercambiamos
adornos navideños con un colegio de Kifissia, Atenas (Grecia)
e hicimos
una videollamada donde los alumnos se cantaron villancicos en inglés,
español y
griego.
5-Year-Olds and 5th and 6th grade of Primary Education
/3º de Educación Infantil y 5º y 6º de Educación Primaria
Last Christmas was really touching since our 5th and 6th grade students and Infants Years 4 and 5 participated in an Etwinning project for the first time. Wishing all the best to lots of students from different countries such as, Finland, Poland, Greece, Italy and Portugal we learnt about the importance of English as a useful tool to communicate and learn about different cultures around Europe.
It has been a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!
Las pasadas navidades fueron muy emocionantes. Nuestro alumnado de 5º y 6º de primaria y el alumnado de 4 años y 5 años participaron en un proyecto Etwinning por primera vez. Felicitaron la navidad a otros estudiantes de diferentes países como Finlandia, Polonia, Grecia, Italia y Portugal. Además, aprendieron la importancia del inglés como una herramienta de comunicación y aprendieron sobre diferentes culturas europeas.
¡Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa!
